Chrome Extension — easiest way to connect
Install the extension, open Slack in Chrome, click the icon — your tokens are filled in automatically. No developer tools needed.
  1. Click Install extension below and add it to Chrome
  2. Go to slack.com in Chrome and sign in to your workspace
  3. Click the Stay Green icon in your browser toolbar (top right)
  4. Click Send to app — tokens will appear here automatically
  5. Hit Save Tokens below and you're done

  1. Open Slack in your browser (not the desktop app) — go to app.slack.com
  2. Look at the URL in your address bar — it will show something like yourcompany.slack.com
  3. Copy just that part (without https://)
